2022 YBPF Committee Member Nominations Open

 

Nominations are now open for the Young Beef Producers’ Forum Committee Member positions – 2022

Celebrating 18-years in 2022, the Young Beef Producers’ Forum (YBPF) is the ultimate educational, capacity building and networking event for youth in the beef industry. Established by the Future Farmers Network and held annually in Roma, the two-day conference focuses on equipping young beef producers with the tools necessary to commence their own journey in the beef industry.

General

Role:  Volunteer Committee Member

Location:  Committee members must be able to attend YBPF in person in Roma, Queensland

Meetings:   Minimum eight (8) per year, depending on operational need. Chairperson may allow attendance by electronic means.

Committee: The FFN Board are seeking the election of up to nine (9) committee members.

Tenure:  1 year (April 2022 – March 2023)

Responsibilities

The YBPF Committee is required to develop YBPF for the purposes of promoting the education and development of young people in agricultural, industrial and related activities; assist in the organisation of activities or events that promote the social aspects of YBBF; and provide advice and recommendations to the Future Farmers Network by analysing the activities of YBPF and ensure their continued relevance to young people.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to nominate to join the YBPF Committee, individuals must be:

  • between the ages of 18 and 35 as of November 2022; and
  • a financial member of the Future Farmers Network as at the time of nomination.

Nominations Open: Monaday, 11 April 2022

Nominations Close: 5pm (AEST) Friday, 29 April 2022

2022 YBPF Committee Announced: Friday, 6 May 2022.
