Graeme Acton Beef Connections Program

The Graeme Acton Beef Connections Program is Beef Australia’s flagship mentoring program supporting the next generation of leaders in the Australian beef industry. Inspired by the legacy of Graeme Acton, the program pairs participants with experienced mentors and supports them to deliver an individual project that contributes to industry improvement, while building leadership capability through a blend of virtual learning and in-person forums.
Eligibility: anyone aged up to 35 who is working or involved in any aspect of the Australian beef industry (production, processing, marketing, or agribusiness) can apply.
Key dates: Applications close COB 13 March 2026
The program runs from 23 March 2026 with three forums including Brisbane (May 2026) and Rockhampton alongside Beef Australia (event) (May 2027). Proudly supported by Westpac.
