Future Farmers Network (FFN) has released its annual survey to understand how best to service and support young agriculture students and professionals around Australia.

While Covid-19 has been firmly at the front of mind for many people and industries in recent months, Australian agriculture keeps on moving, producing food and fibre for the world.

And this means those working in the industry continue to face the everyday diverse challenges that come along with it – as well as enjoying the opportunities.

“2020 continues to be an exciting year for the Future Farmers Network, despite the current challenges,” said FFN Chair Richard Kohne (Harvest Road Group, Western Australia).

“Our aim this year has been to really maximise the benefits we are offering to our members, which has meant increasing and now adapting our professional development and networking opportunities, such as taking our Start-up Stories events online.

“We are also about to launch a new website, promoting more job opportunities and offering more bursaries and educational tools, and have now produced six episodes of our new Mentor of the Month Podcast.”

“By completing our community survey, you ensure FFN continue to offer the products and services that help you thrive in the agriculture industry.”

FFN wants to hear from those 18-35 working or studying across all facets of Agriculture, to better understand those challenges and assist in overcoming them.

This survey aims to;

  • Define the FFN community and explore how they operate in the industry
  • Confirm the requirements of the FFN community are being adequately serviced by FFN
  • Capture the challenges faced by the FFN community and how they can be supported in facing those challenge

The survey only takes a few minutes, and FFN will use the information to better provide the right products and services for the industry.

You will also go into the draw to win an FFN prize pack including a free annual membership.
