The Intercollegiate Meat Judging Association (ICMJ) digital careers expo has grown in scope, with activities now planned across three days starting with an industry advice panel on Wednesday July 8.
The ICMJ Virtual Careers Expo program:
- The ICMJ Careers Panel discussion will feature leaders from the beef, lamb and pork sectors, and representing producers, processors and R&D organisations. The panellists will discuss the range of career paths on offer, in-demand skill sets, and what employers are looking for in graduates. - The ICMJ Jobhunter Training Session will feature presentations from leading rural recruitment agency, Rimfire Resources, on top tips for jobseekers, as well as networking advice from the chief executive of Beef Australia Ian Mill. The training session will help prepare participants to meet prospective employers. - The ICMJ Workforce Showcase will enable students to hold one-on-one video meetings with prospective employers from more than 30 different agribusinesses from across the country. The meetings will be facilitated via phone app and will take place on Friday July 10 – interview booking details will be announced next week.
