Applications are now open for the 2026 intake of the Australian Future Cotton Leaders Program (AFCLP), the cotton industry’s premier leadership development initiative.
About the Program
The AFCLP is run by Cotton Australia in partnership with the Cotton Research & Development Corporation (CRDC) and brings together emerging leaders from across the cotton supply chain — growers, consultants, researchers, merchandisers and more.
Held every two years, the 2026 program will select up to 15 participants for a 12-month journey of leadership development, peer networking, one-on-one coaching and a self-designed leadership project.
Who Should Apply
The program is aimed at individuals who:

Are actively involved in the cotton industry (growth, supply chain, research, extension)

Are keen to develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful contribution to the industry

Are prepared to commit to the full program including face-to-face forums, online activities and the leadership project.
