Future Farmers Network (FFN) is proud to announce the appointment of the newest Young Beef Producers’ Forum (YBPF) committee members, alongside the inaugural committee for the Future Hort Leaders’ Forum (FHLF). These committees represent the next generation of emerging leaders committed to strengthening Australia’s beef and horticulture industries.
YBPF continues to be a flagship platform for supporting young producers, fostering industry networks and championing the future of Australia’s beef industry. The newly appointed committee members – Louis Orr, Annie‑Lou Murphy, Harrison Alick and John Delafore – represent four passionate young leaders who, together with the rest of the committee, will guide the forum’s direction and bring together the 2026 event. The new year also sees Sally Finch step into the role of Committee Chair, and Izzy Graham into the Deputy Chair position. We congratulate this group on their appointments and thank everyone who applied for what was the most competitive committee application process to date.
We also acknowledge the retirement of outgoing committee members Maddie Morgan and Jessica Paton, who have each made significant contributions to the Forum over the years; we wish them all the best and look forward to seeing how they contribute to their industry in years to come.
Alongside YBPF, FFN is excited to be launching the Future Hort Leaders’ Forum, a new initiative designed to elevate young growers and agri-professionals across the horticulture sector. The inaugural committee – Lily Cochrane (Committee Chair), Jessica McMahon, Jade O’Grady, Jacob Jurgens, Abby Templeton, Earl Yandall, Hayley Weaver, Jackson Boardman and Lilly Rehbein – reflects a diverse and highly capable group of emerging leaders.
This committee will shape the forum’s foundation, vision and program, ensuring young horticulture growers and professionals have meaningful opportunities for growth and connection.
The FFN Board welcomes all new committee members, noting their passion, capability and commitment to their industries, and thank those stepping down for their contributions. These appointments reflect FFN’s ongoing mission to empower young people across agriculture with the networks, skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
Both committees are well underway with planning their respective events, contributing to FFN’s national initiatives and sector‑specific programs throughout 2026.
