The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is investing in the next generation of grains industry leaders through six scholarships for the 2026 TRAIL Emerging Leaders Program, delivered by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF).
The program has already supported more than 200 emerging rural leaders and connects graduates to a powerful national network of over 3,000 ARLF alumni. It is designed for early-career grain growers, agronomists, advisers and researchers who want to build their leadership capability, broaden their skills and strengthen their industry networks.
Successful applicants will receive a $15,000 scholarship to participate in the program, which focuses on:

Strengthening professional networks

Growing as an adaptive leader for the future of the industry
